  17. I recently downloaded the MDMUSRV2.inf file from the USR site and included it
  18. as part of my RAS-NT- modem.inf file.  I am still having the same problems
  19. where
  20. my modem ( Sporster V.34 ) drops the connection.  I have tried many
  21. combinations
  22. of setting the rate of the com ports (e.g. baud rate and dissabling FIFO ) and 
  23. other setting parameters.
  24. Still, I am back to square one, the connection is droping either at ftp time or 
  25. even at idle times.  I would greatly appreciate any ideas, help ....

  28. P.S.  My system is G2000 P-66 PC where the modem is on COM2. I have NT-3.51
  29. workstation with SP2.
